J.C.Denner Sopranino in F, a’=420, 415Hz

It is based on the sopranino recorder by Johann Christoph Denner (1655-1707) , who was active in Nuremberg, Germany. The original is in the Basel History Museum in Switzerland and is made of ivory, pitched at around a'= 420Hz. It is preserved in a very good condition and has not only functionality such as richness of volume, quick response, accurate pitch but also sweet and glossy tone color. It shows enough performance to play the concertos for sopranino recorder by A.Vivaldi which require transcendental technique.

Since the original is a little higher than the modern baroque pitch, we have achieved a'=415Hz by extending the middle joint.
