Shigeharu Hirao-Yamaoka

（1950〜2026）

We regret to inform you that Shigeharu Hirao-Yamaoka passed away peacefully on January 25 at the age of 75.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the kindness and support he received during his lifetime, and respectfully share this sad news with you.

A memorial concert is planned to be held at a later date. Further details will be announced as soon as they are finalized, and we sincerely hope you will be able to attend if your schedule permits.

平尾重治による製作の受注停止について

Thank you very much for your continued patronage and support.

We would like to inform you that we have decided to discontinue accepting new orders for instruments made by Shigeharu Hirao. Accordingly, all instruments produced by the Hirao Recorder Workshop will hereafter be made by Seiji Hirao.

We have contacted each customer who currently has an order placed for an instrument made by Shigeharu Hirao. However, if you have an active order and have not received our notice, we kindly ask you to contact us at the address below.

Regarding the maintenance of instruments made by Shigeharu Hirao, Seiji Hirao will continue to take full responsibility for this work, as before.

We apologize for the sudden nature of this announcement and sincerely appreciate your understanding.
